EAST VAN NORDICS SKI CLUB 

The purpose of East Van Nordics Ski Club is to provide leisure winter biathlon activities to youth in Vancouver, BC.  The club is also part of Biathlon BC and Biathlon Canada and promotes the development of athletes and coaches.  Participation in local and provincial competitions is encouraged when the athletes reach adequate skill proficiency and fitness level. Our training compliments our participants' self-development and focuses on marksmanship during the summer and fall, and skiing in the winter and spring. Our youth members are aged 12-18 and have the opportunity to learn how to shoot and ski. Beginners are welcomed.  Our youth volunteer staff organizes and supervises all activities. Our club relies on public support and donations to assist youth in pursuit of this Olympic sport.
